The organ of All Saints’ Church is a significant instrument….restoring such an instrument is of inestimable value to the church’s congregation and would preserve an important landmark in British organ building.’ Colin Andrews, international recitalist and Professor of Organ, Indiana University, USA.

This is an instrument of significant pedigree, hailing from the epoch when Walkers were building iconic organs….I commend this project in the most positive terms’. David Briggs, international recitalist
This magnificent organ was designed to complement the architectural vision, and with its mechanical action and bright tone, to accord perfectly with the acoustic of the church. It quickly gained national recognition for these unique qualities.

An innovative and iconic instrument

The organ, designed specifically for this building and built by the English organ builder J W Walker, forms a striking centrepiece to the nave, which is filled with rich colour and subdued light from beautiful fibreglass windows by the artist John Piper.
